meet the Founders

Alida Weergang
Founder
Alida always had a passion for hair. She competed World Wide with the likes of Paul Mitchell and Vidal Sasoon, at one point competing for the US in the Hair Olympics! She and Rhona opened their first of many salons in 1964. In 1973 after having a hard time finding stylists who were trained properly, Alida and Rhona decided to start a school, and we’ve been going strong ever since!

Rhona Charbonneau
Founder
Rhona was a woman before her time. Not one to sit at home, she’s led female-run businesses starting back in 1964. Not only was she a successful busineswoman, she also was an avid politician. At one point she was elected as a NH State Senator back in the 1980’s. Rhona’s legacy lives on as we strive to live up to the woman she was.
